Our Mission: We believe the best Manufacturing Execution & Lab Management software is designed and developed by people who've lived in real-world manufacturing and R&D for decades, and not just read about it. We believe that implementing MES or LIMS isn't overly expensive or cumbersome when starting with a flexible baseline supporting rapid customization out of the box. When it comes to MES and LIMS, small and mid-size companies are usually either ignored or presented with ridiculous pricing that forces them to adopt paper travelers and spreadsheets for track & trace. We're changing that.

Chain Reaction Systems was founded as I-Track Software, Inc. in 2013 by high-tech R&D / manufacturing industry veterans with decades of experience in the semiconductor, solar, hard drive and clean-tech industries. Before I-Track, Ian and Matt (the founders) had worked on the implementation of many commercial manufacturing systems, but always found them lacking in terms of flexibility, ease of use and cost. We often felt compelled to build our own applications in-house to meet the needs of our internal organizations. In doing that, we learned how to support all levels of the manufacturing organization and build Manufacturing Execution Systems that are easy to use, flexible to customize and inexpensive to deploy. At Chain Reaction Systems, we bring our manufacturing operations expertise and software know-how to you with our innovative ToolTrack platform.

ToolTrack can be deployed either in our private cloud as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution, or on-premise. With regards to our SaaS solution, the "cloud" has become an ambiguous buzzword and it's often not clearly defined in terms of what the customer will actually get. At Chain Reaction Systems, we make it simple: cloud deployment means very low risk because you don't have to invest in IT infrastructure or personnel, and we handle the security, performance tuning, backups and everything in between. Regardless of which deployment option you choose for ToolTrack (cloud or on-premise), we make the implementation stress free and provide your users with the manufacturing software they've always wanted.

I-Track Software

We view our customers as partners; we succeed when they succeed. Therefore we don't lock you into a long-term contract, and we provide unlimited named user accounts for a reasonable monthly subscription. We think it's ridiculous to charge for every user account because it doesn't foster efficiency or data visibility, and those actually mean something to us. We also include ongoing enhancements for every deployment at no extra cost because needs change as companies grow, and we understand that. All of this is enabled by the innovative ground-up design of ToolTrack, and we're very proud of it.

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) can be extremely valuable tools when it comes to reducing cost, increasing yield and improving productivity. Many software vendors make a one-size-fits-all product that forces you to change your business processes. Often times these systems have a clunky user interface, require cumbersome thin-clients (like Java) and significant IT infrastructure, and take 6-12 months to deploy. The main reason for this is because most of the people who make and sell those products have never actually worked a day in a manufacturing environment; they're trying to make something as generic as possible so they can market it to everyone.
We've taken a different approach to manufacturing software because we have lived it our entire careers. When you engage with us, you'll immediately realize that "We're Manufacturing People First... We Get It." From your first introductory call with I-Track Software you'll be working with an experienced US-based system architect that will be responsible for your ToolTrack implementation from start to finish, including customizations, training and post go-live support. We believe it's extremely important for our system architects to lead each deployment because they know the software inside and out, and can leverage decades of experience in manufacturing operations. Whether you're just starting up from a lab environment, trying to graduate from paper travelers, or need to transition from an unsupported legacy system, we've seen it all. The end result is a complete MES solution that does exactly what you need, within budget, according to your business processes implemented in 4-8 weeks.
Some people ask us how we can offer such a compelling product for such a low cost, and the answer is simple: our team focuses on the software, not on marketing. The success of our customers is the best marketing we could ask for, and we love getting word-of-mouth references. Check out the Testimonials page to see why our customers are so happy.

Ian received his B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Washington (Go Huskies!) in 2002 and his entire career has been in high-tech manufacturing with a focus on MES and decision-support systems. He built his first MES-lite application in 2009 and never looked back.
